Eksorb representatives have taken part in a business mission to Barcelona
Eksorb representatives have taken part in a business mission to Barcelona (Spain) on April 1-3, 2019. The main goal of the business mission were negotiations with partners from Spain, Czech Republic and South Korea.
The problem of the decommissioning of spent nuclear power plants and the processing of radioactive waste is relevant for all countries that have many years of experience in the large-scale use of nuclear energy, including Spain and South Korea. This caused the interest of companies from these countries to Eksorb technologies in the field of ion-selective processing of liquid radioactive wastes.
The negotiations were about a creation of a possible consortium for cooperation of partners from different countries, agreeing on a test program for recycling one of the stopped nuclear power plants in Spain, and discussing a plan for cooperation in South Korea, where mass decommissioning start is expected in the coming years. In addition, the representatives of Eksorb have received from Spanish partners a new technological filtering equipment, which is now being used for testing in Kazakhstan.
The company Eksorb expresses a gratitude to the Export Support Center of the Sverdlovsk Regional Fund for the Support of Entrepreneurship (SOFPP), which has provided assistance in organizing and conducting a business mission.
