The Sorbent ANFEZH® is designed for the rapid concentration of cesium radionuclides in the radiochemical analysis of weak acid and neutral aqueous solutions (marine and fresh water, technological solutions) with a total salt content of up to 500 g/dm3. Concentration is not hindered by high concentrations of sodium and potassium ions.

DESCRIPTION

Analytical sorbent ANFEZH® is a basis for the express - method of the mass radio-chemical analysis of liquids with a limit of detection upto 1 Bq/m3.
The sorbent is explosion-proof, almost nontoxical and fireproof.
Allowable storage time - 5 years from the date of manufacturing.
 
BENEFITS
 
Raises sensitivity of the analysis - to 10000 times, reduces time for concentration (for Cs-137 from 1000 liter tests - no more than 5 hours). It can be applied in field conditions.
In Table 1 comparison of methods of concentration Cs-137 from sea water with sorbent ANFEZH® and APM (ammonium phosphomolybdate) is given. Usually last sorbent is used in IAEA techniques:
